About Vision Development & Rehabilitation
Vision Development & Rehabilitation is a quarterly journal featuring scientific, peer-reviewed articles in the fields of vision development and vision rehabilitation. The official publication of the College of
Optometrists in Vision Development, Vision Development & Rehabilitation welcomes manuscript submissions from a wide variety of professionals engaged in the journal’s fields of interest.
The mission of Vision Development & Rehabilitation is to serve as an authoritative source of information in vision development and rehabilitation through peer reviewed articles. The editor and journal review board will consider manuscripts in all aspects of related fields including, but not limited to: optometric vision therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, behavioral and developmental vision care, visual impairment, applied cognitive and visual neuroscience, behavioral and developmental pediatrics, occupational and physical therapy, learning and education. Reviews, case reports, and reprints will be considered, but priority is accorded to manuscripts of original research.
Appealing to a trans-disciplinary view of vision, the journal’s review board is currently comprised of professionals from the disciplines of Optometry, Vision Science, Medicine, Occupational Therapy, and Biostatistics.

Our Editor-in-Chief is Leonard J. Press, O.D., and our Managing Editor is Katie Kirschner. The entire manuscript submission and review process is conducted through
Editorial Manager. Distributed via digital format, the public has online access to all content immediately upon publication. VDR is indexed in the Directory of Online Journals using ISSN 2374-6416.
