In the most recent issue of Optometry & Vision Development (OVD), the official quarterly publication of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, Dr. Burkhart Fischer, German scientist and researcher, and his team published two articles about vision and learning that are gaining international attention.
Their research found that children with vision problems have a hard time learning basic mathematical skills, and that if the appropriate vision therapy is given, math skills improve.
