August was declared National Children's Vision & Learning Month in 1995. The goal of this national observance is to help educate parents and educators about the critical link between vision and learning. This year, COVD reached out to parents across the globe to share their personal stories through video, with our first ever "Visions of Hope Video Contest."
We would like to thank the authors of Jillian's Story: How Vision Therapy Changed My Daughter's Life, Robin Benoit and her daughter Jillian, for helping us gather a number of very inspirational stories.
The video with the most votes was announced by Jillian Benoit during the webinar on August 25th to celebrate National Children's Vision & Learning Month. The winning video will also be shown at the COVD 41st Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, NV.
